Is it safe to shop with October Origin?

What is your online security policy?
We want to make sure that you're safe and secure when you're shopping with us online. As part of our commitment to this, we perform random checks on orders and this means that you may need to prove your identity. Customers will be contacted by phone or email and will have up to 24 hours to provide us with the required information.

Does October Origin have a retail store?
No. We are an online fashion store, which means you can shop with us 24 hours a day, from all over the world (here is the list of countries we ship to), and you don't even have to carry your own shopping home, because we'll deliver it to your doorstep!
Can I contact you by phone?
We operate as an online fashion store. To secure your consumer rights in writing and to make our customer service as efficient as possible, we prefer to answer your queries via email rather than phone. What is Pre-Order?
A product that is only available under pre-order basis means we do not carry ready stock on hand. We place pre-order items in a batch with our suppliers, and every pre-order batch is normally open for order taking for 7 days. Upon receiving full payment, we will place your order with the supplier immediately after the particular batch is close.
Do pre-order item look exactly like the pictures shown?
Yes! We use actual product during photo shoot, and we try our best to provide you as much detail photos as possible. Having that said, what you see is what you’ll get!
Will the colour of the product differ from the picture shown?
It is possible. Though we have made every effort to display as accurately as possible, however, as the actual colours you will see depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
Is the measurement of the product final?
No. All sizes and measurements are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure they are as accurate as possible. Measurements may vary between 3-5cm. Unless otherwise stated, measurements indicated are centimetres.
*Measurement Tip: Always hold the measuring tape loosely to ensure you get the right result.
If the pre-order product is out of stock, can it be restock again?
Out of stock item are usually sold out and it’s not re-stockable by the supplier. Hence, we will not be able to re-stock the item. However, if the item becomes available again in the future, we will announce it on the website, Facebook Page as well as our newsletter. So make sure you subscribe to at least one of the followings to receive the latest updates!
What is your pre-order cancellation policy?
You can cancel your order anytime before the pre-order batch is closed. However, cancellation & changes for pre-order item is not allowed once the pre-order batch is closed. As the item has been executed exclusively for you, order will be submitted to the supplier immediately after the closing date. Please note that there will be a cancellation charges of 5% on your total order due to bank charges.
When is the opening and closing day for every batch?
New opening day falls on every Thursday, and closing day on every Wednesday with payment cut-off time at 11pm.
How do I know when is the arrival of shipment for pre-order merchandise?

I have ordered pre-order & ready stocks in one bill, will all my items be delivered at the same time?
No. We will deliver your ready stock within 3 business days after payment received without additional charge. As for pre-order, it will be delivered after your pre-order batch arrive.

How certain are you towards the estimated arrival of shipment?
Pretty accurate. Pre-order items will normally reach us within 14 - 18 working days after the closing date of the batch. Though we can only offer estimates of when the pre-ordered batch will arrive as the time of shipment delivery is completely reliant on the supplier, this being said, your pre-order can arrive much early than anticipated most of the time, or just a little later.
